REPRISE 2022/2023

POINTER | DANCE PERFORMANCE 4+

Two brothers have to go to bed, but they can't fall asleep. It's more fun to play on the iPad. But when it fails, the brothers fantasize about their own game. They chain, dance, vomit, break down the tent and make Papa angry. The hands of the clock tick away the hours. Eventually they fall asleep. Then the alarm goes off.

Remses Rafaela mixes acrobatics, hip-hop and Afro-Caribbean dance with slapstick and shadow play into an imaginative, energetic dance performance for the whole family.

'Wijzer' is a co-production with Maas Theater and Dans

“Their body control is impressive when they 'dance' with a green chair that is much too big, it is great how they move in sync or mirror each other. (…) The performance is so topical, not because of the corona crisis, but because Wijzer celebrates the live experience.”

Theater newspaper .

“The comic tone and appropriate movements make this a fun family show. One that children, but also certainly adults can appreciate. (…) If you are looking for a performance that not only entertains yourself, but also your child, this is a good choice.”

Dance magazine .

“The slapstick moments are very funny and the toddlers present seem to recognize it too. (…) An energetic performance with a good approach: use your imagination and play!”
